A former surface Mn mine located in sec. 6, T2N, R15E, 14 miles by road N of Globe. Discovered 1955.
Mineralization is an irregular ore body. The ore zone is 106.68 meters long, 2.44 meters wide. An associated rock unit is diabase. Some ore is exposed along narrow fractures that crop out about 30 feet E of the opencut. The fractures are parallel to the main zone and are exposed in places along the strike for 200 feet or more.
Workings include an opencut at 36.58 meters long, 2.13 meters wide and 9.14 meters deep.
