An asbestos occurrence/prospect located in sec. 1, T2N, R14E, about 1¼ miles ESE of Salt River Peak, about 8 air miles W of Richmond Basin, on National Forest land.

Mineralization is ore in lenses hosted in Mescal Limestone. The ore zone strikes N30E, and dips 28SE. An associated rock unit is diabase. The two occurrences of asbestos are thought to be in the same stratigraphic horizon, which has been offset by a fault.

Area structures include intricate faulting and tilting.

The property is developed by a few open pits. No production record.
