A Fe-Cu prospect located in sec. 9, T8S, R13E, about 4 miles SW of Black Mountain, just N of Durham Wash, on private land.
Mineralization is hosted in the San Maniego Quartz Monzonite. Alteration is sericitization. Magnetite veins & pods (one approximately 600 cubic yards), The Samaniego Quartz Monzonite has sericite & clay alteration of plug - no quartz - but lack of bleached selvages on veins. There are large variations of magnetic susceptibility in ore.
