A former surface and underground Ag-Pb-Mo-Au-silica mine located in sec. 23, T9S, T4E, about 5.5 miles NNW of Prieta Peak on the shore of Lake St Clair, near the Orizaba mine. Produced 1955-1966.
Mineralization is a vein deposit in NE-striking faults. Host rock unit is the Bolsa Quartzite. Orebody(ies) are lens-shaped and approximately 0.61 meters thick. A vein of silver-lead ore occurs in a layer of quartzite 4 feet thick. This vein varies in thickness from a few inches to 2 feet. Ore control was the NE-striking faults.
