A Cu prospect located in sec. 10, T8S, R18E, just N of the old Copper Creek townsite/post office, near the center of the E edge of sec. 10., 1250 feet S of the NE corner of sec. 10, on federal land.
Mineralization is a breccia pipe hosted in Copper Creek Granodiorite. The breccia pipe is circular at 30.48 meters diameter and is essentially barren. The breccia is mostly made up of 6 inch fragments, some range to several feet. The pipe is surrounded by a 10 foot zone of fractured granodiorite which grades into unfractured massive granodiorite. Related structures are block faulting trending NNW. Reg. trends: minor pre-Cretaceous E and E-trending folds and major post-Cretaceous NNW-trending faults.
Workings include several pits and short adits.
