Ref.: The Iron Mines of New Jersey (1910), Bayley: 214; NJ State Geol. Annual Rpts.: 91873): 81; (1879): 83; (1882): 73. An iron mine in magnetite ore located ¾ mile NE of Green's Pond on Jenny Jump Mtn. Started 1873 and closed 1882. Ore is hosted in Precambrian Franklin marble. Workings featured 2 shafts to 20 feet deep.
