A former Fe mine in magnetite ore located 2 to 3 miles SE of Ogdensburg in Sparta Township. One of the Ogden group of mines. Started 1772 by Abraham Ogden, later owned by the New Jersey Franklinite Co. Featured a shaft.

The Ogden mine was largely overprinted by the Edison mine's "Horseshoe cut" in the 1890's.
