A zinc mine in fractured Everton Dolomite and St. Joseph Limestone. Located near Markleton. Started 1866 and closed 1900, Reopened during WWI.
Commodity: Carbonate resembles a coarse sandstone, being composed of round mineral grains.
Deposit: All of these deposits are small parts of a very large deposit system
Geology: Being up on the plateau, this maybe a site where much of the sphalerite has weathered away.
