Old feldspar quarry worked on a pegmatite located near Kongelf, about 500 m south of the railwaystation, near the socalled Gästgivargården. It was worked around the 1870s.
A. E. Nordenskiöld (1872) described a new mineral from this locality which he named Nohlite, an inadequately described mineral, a niobate of REE (Y),U,Fe,Ca and Zr, probably identical with Samarskite-(Y)?, cfr. Hey´s Mineral index,1993.
