A small lead mine, working a NW-trending lode in the valley south of Trerew farm. The lode was opened up from an adit, commencing in the valley SE of the farm, that connects to a shaft 250 yards south of the farm where it crosses the lode. According to Hamilton Jenkin, another two shafts were located 50 yards NW and 100 yards SE of this position. According to Dines, however, the other shafts were located 100 yards west and 150 yards NW of Trerew farm, respectively. Atkinson also associates an overgrown burrow in a field northwest of the farm with the mine workings.
