"ECLIPSE MINE developed on a reef containing gold and bisbuth discovered in 1870. it was initially worked until 1871, then sporadically until 1932. No production figures were recorded.

"ECLIPSE EAST MINE was a prospecting shaft sunk in 1883 on a quartz-iron oxide reef in the vicinity of the Eclipse Mine hoping to penetrate the same reef at depth. No production figures were recorded."
