A Au-Mo-Cu-Ag occurrence/prospect located in T20N, R14 & 15W, G&SRM, along McGarrys Wash, on private land. Operated by the Santa Fe Pacific Mining, Incorporated. The USGS MRDS database accuracy for this locality is not stated.
Mineralization is broad zones of propylitic and argillic assemblages hosted in gneiss. Local alteration includes local zones of quartz-sericite (phyllic) and potassic alteration in five areas. Associated rocks include Pliocene granite. Local rocks include Pliocene to middle Miocene deposits.
Analytical data results: Geochemistry in the pediment area shows an affiliation of Cu (76-1200 parts per million [ppm]), Au (47-1148 parts per billion [ppb]), Ag (3-20 ppm) and Mo (23-610 ppm).
