A Cu-Au-gypsum occurrence located in the E½ sec. 16, T41N, R13W, G&SRM, on private land (state land lease ??). Operated by Lloyd David, Utah (1979). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.
Gypsum occurs in lenses, hosted in the Barstow formation (?). Local rocks include Permian sedimentary rocks.
