An underground copper mine consisting of two shafts. The Columbian Mining Co. organized in 1859 for the purpose of working the abandoned Albion Mine, which had been idle since 1854. The mine operated on a small scale until 1864, when it merged with the Sheldon Mining Co. If one can locate the piles, some copper and silver can be found here.
