A zinc mine located West of Fairview. Ore is mineralized Everton, Powell & Cotter Dolomites. Active during WWI and closed in the late 1920's.
Deposit: Upon decay the quartz in the ore bearing rocks is left in relief in thin ribbons ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Development: In 1802 there was a crushing plant, jigs, 30 hp boiler engine, ore bins, and other buildings at the mine.
Geology: Is in rocks near to edge of area covered by boone chert.
