The locality produced over 5 tons of a pale green chrysocolla, sometimes with brown to black spots pf possible iron oxides. The rock is not used for cabochons, but is widely used for carvings because of its homogenous colour and large size. The largest pieces can be up to about 50 cm across and yield beautiful carvings of lizards, owls, fish and other animals. It can be distinguished from other chrysocolla localities by much lower specific gravity (around 2.23 - 2.33).
