Half-Life's ports explained

Yeah this game has ports, isn't it? Gamecube & Dreamcast, now Gamecube port is fake since I saw it in one of iceberg so don't trust it, but Dreamcast is explanable, it even had ads, but later it was cancelled before release, but in 2012 the leak for last Dreamcast version is uploaded which has a lot of loading screens, uses half of memory card to even save at last map, controls are weird, and it's very dark than flashlight doesn't help. PS2, now this port is very known, it released in 2001, which is Dreamcast but better, much better HD models, and new campaign, Decay, yeah it's basically great to play.

There's no official Gamecube Half-Life port ever made.

The DC version was cancelled a month before its launch I think, it got cancelled so late that the prima guide was published, Half-Life: Blue Shift was going to be a Dreamcast exclusive, so PS2 had Decay, Dreamcast would've had Blue Shift, and PC would've had Opposing Force.

I've heard the massive save size in the DC version was because of a memory leak. The Dreamcast version was going to have multiplayer, apparently Opposing Force's multiplayer would've been released alongside regular HLDM, what if CS was on Dreamcast?

Fun fact: Marines in the PS2 version can throw or kick grenades away from themselves.

The Marine model in that port has the animations for it, I've attempted to see it work in the mod, but it appears to not have been implemented into the mod.
