Justin Omoregie (born 21 September 2003) is an Austrian professional footballer. He plays as midfielder for 2. Liga club FC Liefering. He also plays for the FC Salzburg U19 squad in the 2021-22 UEFA Youth League.
Career
[change | change source]He started his career with SV Aspern. In 2011 he went on to the youthteam of First Vienna FC. In 2013 he went to FK Austria Wien. In 2017 he went to the Red Bull Salzburg Academy. In January 2021 he went to FC Liefering. His debut was in July 2021. He was in the starting team against SV Horn. In the 83rd minute he got a red card. [1]
For the 2022/23 season, Omoregie joined the Salzburg Bundesliga squad. In the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, he continued to play only for Liefering. For the 2024/25 season he was loaned to TSV Hartberg. [2]There he made 19 appearances in the Bundesliga.
National team
[change | change source]He played for the Austria U16, U17 and U19 national teams. In September 2019 he played his first match for the U17 team versus Romania, in September 2021 he played for the U19 team versus Turkey.
