トランプの広島・長崎発言に失望！ロン・ポール元下院議員のRon Paul Instituteが2020年トルーマン批判論文掲載　対パレスチナ強硬派と重なる原爆投下支持者 '26.7.11グラハム議員(71)ウクライナから帰国後急死

トランプ大統領が先日のイラン核施設攻撃について、広島・長崎に喩えたことが日本国内で波紋を広げています。筆者は２０１６年の予備選の時からトランプ氏を応援していただけに、非常に失望しました。事前通知で人的被害を出さないよう準備された今回のイラン核施設爆撃と、広島そして数日しか経たないうちに長崎に、２種の異なる原子爆弾を投下し、民間人を大量殺りくしたこととは、次元が違います。トランプ氏は第一次政権の後、自身の大統領時代を振り返り、「戦争屋に戦争をするよう迫られ大変だった」と語っていました。しかし、もはや、ネオコンの代表格リンゼイー・グラハム（リンジー・グラム）上院議員（防衛・軍需産業が盛んなサウスカロライナ選出）と変わりません。トランプ大統領はグラハム議員をRINO（Republican in Name Only）と批判したこともあるものの、2020年には同議員から多額の個人献金を受け取ってもいます。流石に自身に対する弾劾に賛成したリズ・チェイニー前下院議員（41代大統領ジョージ H・W ブッシュ政権で副大統領だったディック・チェイニー氏の娘）との関係修復はありませんが。

今回の大統領の発言について、広島と長崎の被爆団体関係者が怒りを露わにする一方、林芳正官房長官は論評を控えるとコメント。トランプ大統領の発言を批判くらいしたって構わないじゃないですか！何も問題ありません。言ったからって、大統領はいつまでも根に持つタイプでもないだろうし、ギクシャクするようなことはないでしょう。トランプ大統領が苛立つとすれば、それは、日本の対中姿勢や経済問題でしょう。MAGA内には、イスラエルこそIAEAの査察を受け入れず、他国を軍事攻撃しまくっているとの声もあります。広島サミットを何としてでも成功させたかったが為に、バイデン元大統領やエマニュエル元駐日大使に媚び諂い、強引な手法でLGBT理解増進法を推し進めた岸田元首相は、抗議すべきです。大統領が発言を撤回することを期待できなくても、被爆国の声は政府として伝えなければなりません。

トランプ大統領は２０１６年大統領選に出馬する前から、度々ジョージ ・W・ブッシュ（子）43代大統領とイギリスのブレア首相が始めたイラク戦争を批判していました。共和党内の予備選挙討論会でジェブ・ブッシュ（43代の弟）にも、イラクの大量破壊兵器についてツッコミ入れています。さらに、ブッシュ（父）41代大統領と英国のサッチャー首相が主導した多国籍軍による１９９０年の湾岸戦争についても、当時の開戦動機と原油価格との関連を交えながら、深刻な表情で避けるべきだったと話す、古い映像も見たことがあります。

さて、不愉快な気分になった皆さまに是非知ってもらいたい記事と論文があるので紹介させていただきます。

共和党ケンタッキー州選出ランド・ポール上院議員のご尊父（90歳）で下院議員を務めていたロン・ポール氏が独立系ジャーナリズム媒体に寄稿した「トランプ、今すぐ戦争を止めろ」という見出しの記事です。ロン・ポール氏は自身でもシンクタンクを運営していて、5年前にジェイコブ・ホーンバーガー氏が書いた「トルーマンは戦争犯罪人、広島・長崎への原爆投下は必要なかった」という論文もありますので、併せて読んでいただければ幸いです。「戦況からして原爆投下は必要なかったと」する論考はそれなりにありますが、ホーンバーガー氏の論文のように、「パールハーバー攻撃は、東インドの石油を確保するため米太平洋艦隊をどかしてくれとのメッセージに過ぎず、米本土どころかハワイへの侵攻も企図していなかった」、と短くまとめられた文献は、珍しいと思います。専門的な歴史書や軍事解説本にはあるそうですが。

ロン・ポール氏は内科医から下院議員になった方で、ご子息のランド・ポール議員は眼科医から議員に転身されました。ランド・ポール上院議員は、武漢肺炎の予防対策や急ごしらえのワクチン接種方針で日本でもよく知られる、疾病予防管理センター（CDC）のアンソニー・ファウチ博士を議会公聴会で徹底糾弾してきました。ポール父子はリバタリアン、ティーパーティとして有名です。興味のある方は、武漢ウイルス研究所で機能獲得研究をやらせていた疑惑をめぐり、ランド・ポール上院議員とファウチ博士が激しいやりとりをしているビデオも、どうぞ。

イラン核施設の攻撃後に広島・長崎への原爆投下を擬えたトランプ大統領は７日、広島・長崎への原爆投下を決断したトルーマン大統領の肖像画をホワイトハウスのロビーに飾ったと公表しました。トルーマン大統領は１９４８年５月、ユダヤ人国家「イスラエル」の独立が宣言直後に、イスラエルを国家承認しました。イスラエルは米国とともにイラン核施設を攻撃した後、ガザ一掃作戦ににシフトを戻すと伝えられています。第二次大戦中・大戦後まもなくのアメリカの動向と、第二次トランプ政権が重なります。

イスラエルやパキスタンがトランプ大統領をノーベル平和賞に推薦したようですが、今後日本政府も他国に倣って推薦するようなことはないでしょうね。そうする意向が少しでもあるのなら、イラン核施設攻撃と２度にわたる民間人大量殺戮と擬えたことと、原爆投下を決断したトルーマン大統領を礼賛する行為について批判・抗議をしておくべきでした。米国内においても原爆投下の必要性を否定する論考が昔からある以上、被爆国の政府なり外務省が、トランプ大統領の言動のエスカレートを黙認すべき理由はありません。
昨年アメリカで、『ジャパンズ・ホロコースト』なるインチキ本がブライアン・マーク・リグという人物が出版しました。このような書籍は、「日本や日本人に対しては何をやってもいいんだ」という風潮を広げ、中国などの反日活動や対日軍事行動を加速させかねず、非常に危険です。

It’s also worth pointing out that Japan never had any intention of invading and conquering the United States. The only reason that Japan bombed Pearl Harbor was in the hope of knocking out the US Pacific fleet, not as a prelude to invading Hawaii or the continental United States but simply to prevent the US from interfering with Japan’s efforts to secure oil in the Dutch East Indies.
