今日からは「古事記」シリーズです。

古事記は日本最古の書物です。

とても重要なこの書物について、日本人として、できるだけシンプルに英語で説明できるようになることが当シリーズの目標です。

さて英語です。

まずはGemini君ですが、今回のGemini君はなんとスタンダードバージョンのほかにシンプルバージョンも出してくれています。

まるで私の意図を見抜いて「ほら、これがほしかったんでしょ？」といっているかのようです。うーん、すごい・・・

describeは「記述する、描写する」 
inheritは「受け継ぐ、相続する」

describeとかinheritといったシンプルとはいえない語を使っていますね。

それに比べると、Gemini君のシンプルバージョンは、tell（←describe)、
stay（←inherit)といった最も簡単な語を選んで使っています。
