I also watched stuff like Digimon, Pokemon, even an anime called Superbook when I was like 2-3 years old translated to russian and just thought all those were cartoons. 2007 is near the year I realized what anime actually was and I really like to keep track using this site. Ive had MAL open in a browser practically everyday ever since signing up lol
I get ya watching everything even if its bad. I did the same thing for majority of my anime watching but last few years I've been 10x more picky with what I choose to watch. I enjoy it this way much more for sure and it gets me into watching a ton of anime. I work and just watch anime on my phone whenever I have some spare time.

Also, Clevatess was so sick! I really liked the art style for it too!
