JM-1232は、潜在的な麻酔薬として研究されている鎮静薬・催眠薬である。鎮静・睡眠作用のあるベンゾジアゼピン系薬物と同様の作用を持つが、構造的に異なるため、非ベンゾジアゼピン系睡眠薬に分類される[1][2][3][4][5][6]。丸石製薬のチームによって開発された[7]。
ヒトでの研究では、様々な用量での注入による鎮静が検討され、血行力学的安全性プロファイルは良好であった[8]。
