Stadio Porta Elisa is a multi-use stadium in Lucca, Italy. It was built to hold 12,000 people in the 1930s, but safety regulations have made it so that it can only hold around 7,400 people;
History
[edit]
The stadium was named after Porta Elisa, a gate in the east of the historic walls of Lucca, named after Elisa Baciocchi Bonaparte.[citation needed]
It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of A.S. Lucchese-Libertas.[1]
