Moncey (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃sɛ]) is a commune in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France.
History
[edit]In the 18th century, Bon-Adrien Jeannot de Moncey built the château du maréchal Moncey.
Geography
[edit]Moncey lies 8 km (5.0 mi) north of Marchaux in the valley of the Ognon. It is surrounded by woods.
