Biography

Kaiser earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics. He also earned master's degrees in economics and accounting along with an M.B.A. Kaiser previously worked as a tax examiner for the state, program coordinator for the City of Denver and auditor for Windor Capital Group.[1][2] His organizational affiliations include the National Association of Realtors, Colorado CPA, and the Institute of Management Accountants.[3]

For nearly two terms, I’ve delivered fair and accurate valuations, expanded transparency, protected seniors and veterans through tax relief, and modernized our office to better serve you. In a time of uncertain future property values, I’m fighting for equity and relief while ensuring your tax burden is distributed fairly, which works for every homeowner, business, and neighborhood in Arapahoe County, Property taxes fund our schools, roads, safety, and open spaces — but they must be fair. As your Assessor, I’ve ensured valuations are accurate and equitable, introduced tools that let you easily check values and sales data, and made our office more accessible than ever. We’ve saved taxpayer dollars through efficiency while protecting vulnerable residents through exemptions. We’ve saved on our nonpayroll budget all seven years I've been in office.
  • Fair & Accurate Assessments I am committed to delivering fair, data-driven, and equitable property valuations that reflect true market conditions while protecting homeowners from unfair spikes. Using advanced tools and transparent methodologies, my office ensures every neighborhood and property type is assessed consistently and accurately.
  • Transparency & Accessibility Since taking office, I have modernized the Assessor's Office with interactive valuation maps, online appeals, paperless notifications, property fraud alerts, and greater public access. Residents deserve an open, accountable government — I provide the tools and information they need to understand and, if necessary, appeal their assessments.
  • Tax Relief & Protecting Vulnerable Residents I fight for tax relief by streamlining senior and veteran exemptions, supporting state relief measures like HB 24-1001, and ensuring our processes help working families, seniors, and veterans navigate rising property taxes. My focus is on accurate, transparent, and accountable assessments that support essential services without overburdening residents. My office works every day to protect vulnerable residents while fairly funding our schools, cities, and local government & metro districts,
I am deeply passionate about property tax fairness, government transparency, and equitable public service delivery at the local level.

As Arapahoe County Assessor, I focus on ensuring property valuations are accurate, consistent, and transparent so that every homeowner, business owner, and neighborhood pays their fair share — no more, no less. I am especially committed to protecting seniors, veterans, and working families through accessible tax exemptions and relief programs while maintaining the funding needed for our schools, public safety, and community services.

I also care strongly about modernizing county government through technology and open data. I’ve worked to give residents easy access to valuation tools and interactive maps.

I am PK Kaiser, and I am running for re-election as Arapahoe County Assessor so I can continue serving Arapahoe County and its people.

I am dedicated to transparency, equity, and accountability in Arapahoe County’s government, and to making sure that everybody’s voices are heard. Like you, I want to play an active role in making our community, state, and country a better place to raise our children, run our businesses, and forge a future filled with promise.

Since taking the oath to become Arapahoe County Assessor in 2019, I’ve been working tirelessly to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Assessor’s Office. I’ve brought innovation and technology to the forefront and made transparency, equity, and accountability our leading principles.

I am out and about, relishing each moment I spend with people every day. From knocking on doors to attending and speaking at community events, neighborhood meetings, and forums, I am happy to be among people, listening to their concerns and ideas for making Arapahoe County a better place to live. I have been moved by the stories I’ve heard. I believe that every concern is significant and that there is a dire need to address these issues.

As a loving husband and father of three children, I am optimistic about the future of Arapahoe County. I am working tirelessly to ensure a high quality of life for the people. Insightful, respectful, and fair, I am thoroughly researching all aspects of an issue before making an informed decision. An excellent listener, I am reaching out to the constituents and learn what concerns them. I am representing the people of Arapahoe County in a wise and dignified manner.

I have earned an MBA in Finance, a master's degree in accounting and he is working on my Ph. D degree in Sustainable Economics. I have worked for the United States Postal Service as Real Estate Admin, Colorado Department of Revenue, Department of Corrections, City & County of Denver, and the Community College of Aurora.

I am striving to make the assessor office more assess able to the public. My conservation fiscal policies have saved more than one quarter of non-salary budget every year since I took the office. Alone this year I have produced more than $120 BILLION of assessment which provides funding to the public schools, cities, fire districts, RTD, open spaces, and all other taxing districts.

I am running again because I want to further improve the Assessor’s Office and continue to be an accountable, transparent, and equitable civil servant to the people of Arapahoe County. In 2022, we will once again win ballots and hearts. Together we can make a meaningful difference.
I would like to follow the examples of successful public servants like Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela who have served their people and made a moving path for us.
