Biography
Nicole Locklin graduated from Pond Creek-Hunter High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and a law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law in 2015. Her career experience includes working as an attorney.[1]

I’m running because families are paying more for housing, insurance, groceries, childcare, and healthcare while billionaires and corporations use money and influence to rig the rules. Corruption is the reason we cannot have the things Americans deserve.
My campaign is focused on affordability and accountability. I will fight to ban congressional stock trading, end dark money, overturn Citizens United, close tax loopholes, and make billionaires and large corporations pay what they owe. I do not accept corporate PAC money because I work for the people, not special interests.
We can use that revenue to guarantee healthcare, lower housing costs, strengthen Social Security and Medicare, invest in schools and childcare, create good union jobs, and protect our communities. America can afford a better future. What we cannot afford is more corruption.- The affordability crisis is caused by corruption. Working families are doing everything right and still falling behind. Housing, homeowners insurance, groceries, electricity, childcare, and healthcare cost too much. I will fight to lower costs, expand affordable housing, protect Social Security and Medicare, support first-time homebuyers, invest in public schools and childcare, and create good-paying union jobs. America is wealthy enough for every family to live with dignity. The problem is not scarcity. It is a government that keeps putting corporate profits and self-dealing ahead of people it is supposed to serve.
- It's time to hold power accountable. Corruption is the reason we cannot have nice things. Billionaires and mega corporations spend millions buying influence, and politicians reward them with tax breaks, contracts, and laws written in their favor. I will fight to ban congressional stock trading, overturn Citizens United, expose dark money, strengthen ethics rules, and stop the revolving door between Congress and lobbying. I do not accept corporate PAC money because I will work for the people of FL-26—not the donors who have rigged Washington.
- Billionaires and giant corporations use loopholes and political influence to avoid paying what they owe, while working people pay taxes from every paycheck. I will close those loopholes, reduce or eliminate income taxes on working families, tax extreme wealth and income fairly, and make profitable corporations contribute to the country that made their success possible. We should use that revenue to guarantee healthcare for every American, lower prescription costs, strengthen Medicare and Social Security, support childcare and education, and invest in America's future. Hard work should equal a good life, and in America that is no longer the case.
