Biography
Christopher Lafont graduated from Brentwood High School. Lafont earned an associate degree from Valencia Community College in 2020. Lafont's career experience includes working as a general manager.[1]

- Running as a write in candidate is difficult. If I am willing to work hard to get your vote, imagine how hard I'd work for you in Congress.
- I am a father who also works 2 jobs and is running a congressional campaign. My work ethic and dedication is shown in all I do.
- I am in this race to try to fix our systems which seem to be moving backwards through time. I am not seeking a lifetime appointment, just give me some time to get things done.

Education
“Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education.” FDR
Education is our most important issue. This is the foundation of every other issue. Want higher paying jobs in your area? Companies will come and pay more for an educated work force. Want better health care for your loved ones? Educated doctors would want to be close to home. Want a better life for your children? They can achieve this through education. We need to move away from test based curriculum and teach life skills. We need to better prepare the future leaders of America by setting real life standards. A longer school day and school year is the start to this.
Pet Rights

Pets. Our fur babies. The law sees them as "property". Any respectful pet owner knows, they are not property, they are FAMILY. We raise our pets, feed them, take them to the vet when they are sick, bathe them, clothe them, shelter them. And when they pass over that rainbow bridge, we hurt in our heart for that loss. Since they are family, we should be able to claim them as dependents on our taxes each year
Term Limits

The President of the United States is limited to serving 2 terms in office. This took effect after FDR to ensure that America did not develop a monarchy and become Great Britain, which we seceded from. Well, a lot of the power in this country lies with Congress (both the House and the Senate). These individuals who are lucky enough to serve the American people, should not see it as a lifetime appointment. Civil service is something every citizen should want, and having term limits will enable that by allowing guaranteed openings every 10-12 years.
