Field Trip Director for the Buffalo Geological Society.
Member of Buffalo Geological Society, Walker Mineral Club (Toronto), Wayne County (NY) Gem and Mineral Society, and Franklin Ogdensburg Mineral Society.

BS in Geology Bucknell University. BA in Chemistry, Rutgers, University. Mineral collector since 1976. Field Trip director for the Buffalo Geological Society. Found and described the first known occurrence of Dundasite at New Jersey Zinc Mine at Ogdensburg, NJ.

Worked as a chemist in the Hydrogen Peroxide field for 30+ years. Grew up in New Jersey and moved to Buffalo, NY in 1999.

I am not a close relation to Davis Lapham of Laphamite fame, but we are probably distantly related to the original Lapham to cross to the U.S. from England back in the 1600s.
