About Mountain WoodHide

A relatively hard, low density filling in fractures, veins, or slickensides. Generally harder than Mountain Cork and frequently composed of amphibole fibers.
Additional species more or less found in mountain wood, mountain cork, mountain leather, mountain paper, etc. include actinolite, chrysotile, palygorskite, sepiolite, tremolite, or zeolite.
