About Minette (ore)
A type of low-grade, oolitic iron ore containing around 28 to 48 percent of iron and 1.5 to 2 percent of phosphorus that is plentiful in Luxembourg and Lorraine, France.
Not to be confused with the formal rock name Minette, a type of Lamprophyre.
