Likely related (or identical?) to berdesinskiite. May stand for the Cr analogue of the latter. Chemically related to olkhonskite.
Occurs as "widely disseminated" grains, usually below 50 microns in diameter.
Associated with crichtonite group, phenakite, rutile, thorite, uraninite, zircon.
Environment: diatreme complex probably related to a carbonatite.
