Formula:
(Ag,Pb)12Sn2S11
Chemically related to canfieldite, UM1988-08-S:AgCu, and UM1988-12-S:AgSn. Differs from canfieldite in its optics characteristics.

As round to elongated inclusions (10-50 microns in size) in galena or ingrown, with galena, in sphalerite.

Gray with greenish tint in reflected light (in air; darker in oil). Neither pleochroic nor anisotropic. Polishing hardness greater than that of galena and smaller than that of sphalerite.

Electron microprobe analysis results, wt.% (one of four datapoints): Ag 66.9, Cu 0.2, Pb 1.6, Sn 13.2, S 18.5, total 100.4 wt%, corresponding to Ag47.0Cu0.2Pb0.6Sn8.4S43.8.
