Co-described with UM1992-07-E:AuCuPdPt, UM1992-25-S:CuOsPdPtRh, UM1992-26-S:CuPdPt, UM1992-27-S:CuPdPtRh, UM1992-28-S:Pd, UM1992-13-O:IrPt, and UM1992-29-S:PdPt.

Found within Pt-Fe micronuggets, 0.1-1 mm in size. Found with Pt3Fe with which it may have originated as a daughter phase of a supposed Pt6CuFe compound.

It is not sure if this phase is identical to or differs from 'Unnamed (Pt-Cu Alloy)'.
