Co-described with UM1992-04-Bi:Pt and UM1992-12-E:IrPtSb, and associated with UM1976-16-S:IrRhSb and zaccariniite.
Found within a 1 to 6-micron-sized inclusion in a phase possibly being tetraferroplatinum, together with cabriite and cuprian rustenburgite. Other associates are orcelite, and the PGE minerals occur within titaniferous magnetite.
Possibly just a cuprian paolovite.
