Co-described with UM1992-04-Bi:Pt and UM1992-38-Sn:CuPdPt, and associated with UM1976-16-S:IrRhSb and zaccariniite.
Found within a 3-micron-sized inclusion in a phase possibly being tetraferroplatinum, together with hollingworthite, platarsite, and sperrylite. Other associates are orcelite, and the PGE minerals occur within titaniferous magnetite.
