Chemically resembles both UM1971-06-S:AgBiCu and cuprobismutite.

Found among other accessory minerals forming inclusions in bornite and chalcopyrite. The associates (in a skarn iron ore with magnetite) are auriferous silver, electrum, carrollite, stannoidite, mawsonite, parkerite, aikinite, emplectite, and wittichenite; another unnamed sulphosalt of a similar composition is said to be found, but this one does not seem to be reported in Smith & Nickel paper.
