Occurs in a chalcopyrite-molybdenite vein deposit, together wit aikinite, friedrichite, hammarite, lindströmite, and "Rezbanyite (of Frenzel)".

Its grains are said to be to small for further analyses.

Note: this is identical to Unnamed (Ag-Cu-Fe Sulphide II).
