Formula:
Pb17Sb18S43Cl2
Chemically similar to ardaite, dadsonite, playfairite, and some unnamed species. Reported as "Mineral C", co-desribed with 'UM1989-16-S:AgClPbSb' ("mineral C1"), from which it is indistinguishable under microscope.
Occurs as a cryptocrystalline product, milimeter-size, within massive semseyite. The "product" has a flow texture and also contains boulangerite and tetrahedrite.
Very similar to to the synthetic "phase V" of Bortnikov et al. (1979); its relation to playfairite may be shown as: Sb3+ + S2- = Pb2+ + Cl-, which is a substitution mechanism also known for dadsonite.
