About NepheliniteHide

A foidite (fine-grained or aphanitic igneous rock) made up almost entirely of nepheline and augite. If olivine is present, the rock may be classified as an olivine nephelinite). It contains little or no feldspars.
It is a mafic (dark coloured), fine-grained or porphyritic ,extrusive or hypabyssal rock, of basaltic character.
