About Fine-grained ("volcanic") normal crystalline igneous rockHide

Fine-grained ("volcanic") normal crystalline igneous rocks are a subdivision of normal crystalline igneous rocks that are dominated by mineral grains mostly <2mm, not readily identifiable to the naked eye. The subtypes usually must be petrographically and/or chemically analysed and plotted on QAPF or TAS diagrams to characterise them precisely.
