Synonym:
A synonym of Melanocratic nephelinolite
A dark-colored plutonic rock that is part of the ijolite series and contains 10%–30% of nepheline and 60% to 90% mafic minerals, esp. green pyroxene. Now defined modally as a melanocratic variety of foidite.
