Reported as a wicksite-like phase, possibly representing its Mn analogue. However, it resembles wicksite only in terms of chemistry. Chemically somewhat similar to 'alluaudite-Ca□', beusite, graftonite, hagendorfite, and varulite.
The phase associates with barbosalite, pyrite, and secondary Fe phosphate minerals. It was found as a druse coating on barbosalite. According to the authors its chemical composition may be recast in various forms.
