One of a few Pb-Sb-S-Cl minerals, the other being ardaite, dadsonite, and the unnamed species: 'UM1980-08-S:ClPbSb', 'UM1980-09-S:ClPbSb', and 'UM1980-10-S:ClPbSb'. First chlorosulphosalt mineral reported from the former SSSR.
Forms tiny acicular grains, 1-3 microns in size, but also aggregates, up to 20 microns in size, in galena and sphalerite; also associated with antimony, arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite, freibergite, silver, and tetrahedrite.
