May be related to pseudobrookite or crichtonite group. Chemically somewhat similar to carmichaelite (if one take the first type of the formula into consideration). On the other hand, it chemically resembles crichtonite.
Found in anatase-albitite dike (20 cm in width); metamict due to small amount of Th, and is highly hydrated. Contains inclusions of galena and often contains rims of pyrrhotite. The crystals (pseudocubes, 1-2 mm in size; cross-like individuals also encountered) are surrounded by reaction halos.
