Formula:
Fe(SO4)(OH)
Anhydrous counterpart of butlerite; occur intimately intermixed with mainly butlerite and hydroniumjarosite, with minor coquimbite, rhomboclase, hematite, and gypsum, within powdery to earthy/compact aggregates forming pods and a veinlet. Formed likely due to natural dehydration of butlerite triggered by coal fire.
