A REE(Fe) analogue of titanite. Chemically somewhat similar to kihlmanite-(Ce). Also compare natrotitanite. Up to 87.2% of Ca is replaced by REE.
Compare also chevkinite-(Ce).

Found in an orthopyroxene-, amphibole-, and biotite-bearing granophyre from Coire Uaigneich, Camasunary, and three other localities on the Isle of Skye, Scotlad, UK. Forms subhedral lozenges; associated with allanite, apatite and zircon.
