Formula:
(Na,Ca)0.73(V,Mg,Fe)2(Si,Al,V)4O10(OH)2 · nH2O
Calculated by Ł. K. from analysis reported in the original paper (note: material after Na-saturation; V as V3+; by analogy to montmorillonite).
Possibly a member of the montmorillonite group. Associates with uraninite (pitchblende) in pockets and lenses in a uranium mine in the northern part of Converse Co., Wyoming, USA; found at 150 feet depth, within the Wasatch Formation of Eocene age.
