Reported as a violarite-like phase.

Together with chalcopyrite, Ni-bearing pyrite and 'UM1973-17-S:FeNi' within eclogite nodules coming from kimberlite pipe at the Roberts Victor diamond mine near Kimberley, South Africa.

The high-Ni phase when compared to UM1973-17-S:FeNi, the latter forming 2-10-micron-sized marginal lamellar intergrowth with the former.
