From Johann mine, as tabular crystals intergrown with gypsum and associated with camgasite.
Original paper suggest it to be, possibly, an arsenate analogue of ardealite, but Smith & Nickel (2007) correctly note, that is might rather be an arsenate analogue of rapidcreekite (similar PXRD).
