About UM1980-16-Te:Bi
Formula:
Bi2Te
May be written Bi6Te3.
Likely identical to 'UM1991-//-Te:Bi'. Found in association with so-called "wehrlite (of Huot)" (a mixture), and with tellurobismuthite, and "joséite-A" from the Ergelyakh deposit, Yakutia, Russia. According to Smith & Nickel (2007) there is a deviation from the formula and that the phase is similar to hedleyite; however, the given Bi & Te wt.% values are well recalculated to Bi2Te, and do not fit the formula of hedleyite.
